Community support programmes

Black economic empowerment farming project to establish 3 historically disadvantaged South Africans (HDSA’s) as commercial farmers.
Glass-bead jewelry business for 10 historically disadvantaged South Africans (HDSA’s).
Learning and Trade Centre to focus on literacy training, computer training and trade skills.
Office Management programme for unemployed youth in Witbank. They attend a one year office management course where after they are placed on the Mines and with the Witbank municipality to gain practical experience.
Academic Enrichment programme for Witbank students with potential for tertiary education but who have scored poorly in their final school exams.
Whole School Development programme for upgrading of Maths, Science and English of teachers and learners as well as assistance with school governance and management at 10 primary and secondary schools in Witbank.
Graduate Internship programme to give young graduates practical work experience.
Youth Community Development programme. A school holiday project to enhance life skills for disadvantage learners from Witbank.
Middelburg Care Village. A children’s home for HIV/AIDS orphans.

A sewer network for a previously disadvantaged township in partnership with the Witbank municipality.
